Air conditioners are divided into single-cooling air conditioners and dual-cooling and heating air conditioners. The working principles are the same. In the past, most air conditioners generally used Freon as a refrigerant. The characteristics of Freon are: when it changes from gas to liquid, it releases a lot of heat. When it changes from liquid to gas, it absorbs a lot of heat. (That is, it absorbs heat and vaporizes first, then liquefies and releases heat) Air conditioners are designed based on this principle.
The compressor compresses the gaseous refrigerant into a high-temperature and high-pressure gaseous refrigerant, and then sends it to the condenser (outdoor unit) to dissipate heat and become a liquid refrigerant at room temperature and high pressure, so the outdoor unit blows out hot air.
Then it goes to the capillary tube and enters the evaporator (indoor unit). Since the space suddenly increases and the pressure decreases after the refrigerant reaches the evaporator from the capillary tube, the liquid refrigerant will vaporize and become a gaseous low-temperature refrigerant, thereby absorbing a lot of heat, and the evaporator will become cold. The fan of the indoor unit blows the indoor air through the evaporator, so the indoor unit blows out cold air; the water vapor in the air will condense into water droplets when it encounters the cold evaporator and flow out along the water pipe. This is why the air conditioner will discharge water.
When heating, there is a component called a four-way valve, which makes the refrigerant flow in the condenser and evaporator in the opposite direction to that in cooling, so when heating, the outdoor air blows cold air, and the indoor unit blows hot air.
In fact, it uses the principle learned in junior high school physics that heat must be discharged when liquefying (from gas to liquid) and heat must be absorbed when vaporizing (from liquid to gas).
Working principle of environmentally friendly air conditioner:
Use a circulating water pump to continuously pump out the water in the water tank and spray it evenly on the evaporation filter layer through the water distribution system. The outdoor hot air enters the evaporative cooling medium and fully exchanges heat with the water in the evaporative cooling medium CELdek (a honeycomb filter layer made of special materials, which makes the cooling effect more ideal, a high-tech patented product from Sweden). The cool and clean air cooled by the evaporation of water is pressurized and sent into the room by a low-noise fan, so that the indoor hot air is discharged to the outside, thereby achieving the purpose of indoor cooling.
