Overview

Swimming Pool Air Handling Units (AHUs) are specially designed HVAC systems developed to manage the unique temperature and humidity challenges found in indoor swimming pool environments. These units not only maintain comfortable air conditions for users but also protect the building structure and equipment from moisture-related damage.

Why a Specialized AHU Is Needed for Swimming Pools

Indoor pools constantly release moisture into the air through evaporation, which can cause high humidity, condensation, and corrosion. Standard air handling units are not designed to handle such high latent loads. A swimming pool AHU integrates dehumidification, heat recovery, and anti-corrosion design to maintain optimal conditions while minimizing energy consumption.

Blower:Blower bearings use lubricated precision ball bearings, and the outer seal ring of the bearing is made of polyamide rubber, which is resistant to high temperatures and can absorb vibration and mechanism noise. The impeller of the purification series air conditioner fan is made of high-quality steel plate (backward-inclined impeller is configured as required), which is more in line with the specific shape of aerodynamics, with high efficiency and low noise.

Surface cooler: The copper tube and aluminum sheet structure is adopted. The copper tube and aluminum sheet are tightly combimechanical or water pressure expansion, and tested by 1.6Mpa air pressure to ensure the minimum contact thermal resistance to achieve the best heat transfer effect. The condensate tray is made of high-quality steel plate or SUS304, double-layer filled with polyurethane foam, and the slope design is more conducive to the discharge of condensate, which has obtained the national patent

Filter: Primary, medium and high efficiency filtration sections are equipped with differential pressure gauges to monitor the initial and final resistance of the filter, providing a scientific basis for filter replacement. Primary, medium and high efficiency filters, as well as photohydrogen ion, high voltage electrostatic and electronic purification filters can be configured according to requirements.
