Overview

DX (Direct Expansion) Type Air Handling Unit is an HVAC solution that integrates a DX coil directly into the air handling unit. Unlike chilled water systems, the DX coil uses refrigerant as the heat transfer medium to cool or heat the air as it passes over the coil. This approach simplifies the system by eliminating the need for a separate chilled water loop and associated piping, making it a compact and cost-effective option for smaller or moderate-sized spaces.
